Join Welsh Orienteering Champion Tim Higginbottom for this all-inclusive trail running camp with guided trail runs and coaching. The Autumn trail running camp is all about celebrating the end of another summer of trail running. Now’s the time to learn how to use winter to maintain your fitness and improve your form for an even stronger summer next year.
Enjoy guided trail runs in the beautiful Llangollen area with expert coaching from Tim Higginbottom. As well as being a qualified UKA Fell & Trail Coach, Tim held the Paddy Buckley Round record for 10 years and he is the current Welsh Orienteering Champion. With Tim’s guidance you’ll learn how to work on your strength and technique during the off-season, ensuring you come back stronger than ever next year. Recover with a yoga flow designed especially for runners to increase flexibility and improve breathing. And relax with two nights accommodation on a beautiful glamping site, with delicious wholesome meals freshly prepared for you.
All meals are included, however guests also have access to little kitchens equipped with utensils should they wish to make a cuppa/prepare additional food. This is a rural site, not a village location so worth noting there isn't a supermarket around the corner!

Tim is a lifelong mountain adventurer and racer, gaining National honours in 4 separate disciplines. He's a UKA Fell and Trail coach and has gained the prestigious Mountaineering Instructor Award. He also coaches orienteering and has run navigation training for the Welsh Fell Running Association. By day, Tim is a secondary school teacher and loves nothing more than sharing his passion for the amazing trails and hills around his home in North East Wales. Over the years he has set many course records in fell, trail and ultra running, held the record for the Paddy Buckley Round for 10 years, and is current Welsh Orienteering Champion. He has raced successfully in various disciplines around the world and is now trying to pass on his love of the mountains to his 2 young children with the help of his wife, Jenny.
Poppy is a professional yoga teacher and a long distance trail runner herself. Based in North Wales, she teaches yoga classes to a range of abilities, though is especially good with beginners. So don't worry if you've never tried yoga before, the idea is to learn something new to add a different dimension to improving your running performance. And if you have done it before, that's great too. Simply let Poppy know and she'll give you the opportunity for more advanced positions throughout the yoga flow.
