Meals at Treehouse are nutritionally balanced and may consist of soup and a vegetarian/vegan main course, a fish/seafood main course, and a number of side dishes and salads - followed by a sugar-free dessert. Please let Art Yoga know your preferences at the time of booking and they will be sure your needs are met. Vegans and vegetarians can be specifically catered for if needed. Please note that no alcohol or sodas are served at the treehouse. Art Yoga does, however, have readily accessible communal fridges near the various dining areas. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol and keep it in the fridges to drink with meals, or whenever you like. There is no corkage fee. This retreat will take place in Watamu, Kenya. There are two houses available being the stunning Treehouse in Kenya which has an open feel or the adjacent gorgeous Matalai house which is more private.

With a personal practice exceeding two decades, Michelle can't imagine or even remember much of life without yoga. She first began teaching yoga in 2004 and is certified with 500 hours Yoga Alliance as well as secondary group ashtanga certification from Mysore India. Michelle's often challenging classes mirror her philosophy that it is easy to be calm if everything around you is calm, but can you maintain that inner calm and steady breath when you are being challenged? Dina is a Jivamukti yoga 300-hour certified teacher and has been sharing her passion through teaching since June 2015. She stumbled across yoga at the age of 15 through a Gaiam home video bought on Amazon and has been hooked ever since. She also offers sessions in prenatal yoga, Ashtanga, Thai yoga massage, and meditation. Dina is also a nurturing birth certified doula supporting women and their partners from pregnancy to parenthood.
