Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with only very few postures. Yin yoga is personal and completely yours; there is no picture-perfect pose. The poses are held for longer periods of time- for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes. Advanced practitioners are encouraged to hold the postures for up to 5 minutes and to honour the 3 principles of yin yoga.
