This 7-day retreat gives you the opportunity to completely unwind and return to yourself. Join Asana, meditation and breathing exercises and get practical tips on how to stay calm and relaxed even in the hectic day-to-day life. You will start the path of, not only practicing Yoga, but actually living Yoga. This is as it was intended by the first Yogi’s who came down the mountains to spread Yoga to the common people.
Stay in a guestroom or on the camping of a nature-surrounded French estate.
July 6 to 12: Yoga, Ayurveda and working with herbs.
Join Yoga Asana activities early morning. After breakfast you will start a program in which you will learn about the fundaments of Ayurveda and you will take part in practical workshops with local herbs. Find and identify herbs in the wild, learn about drying them, preparing massage-oils, making a distillation and using them for cooking.
July 13 to 19: Yoga and Walking Meditation.
Join Yoga Asana activities early morning. Every day after breakfast you will go out for a walks in a true walking paradise. A forest area in the hills, along fields and streams, through the valleys and above all, not a human in sight. You will learn innovative meditation techniques that will not only help you to find peace and relaxation, but that will give you the tools to hold on to this in the busy daily life.
July 20 to 26: Advanced Asana
This week is especially for Yoga practitioners who want to improve their technique. You will be supported in holding the correct posture. You will receive guidance in finding suitable intermediate steps depending on your own capacity and limitations. Special attention will be paid to your body type and which asanas are suitable or not for you.
Meals are vegetarian and are included.
The activities take place in the mornings from Monday to Friday, giving you the opportunity to spend the afternoon as you like.

Meet the Organizers
Pinky More was born in India. She completed her Yoga education at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, the Oldest Organized Yoga Centre in the World. She has made it her personal goal to introduce Indian Classical Yoga to countries in Europe. In Kerala, India, Pinky has studied Ayurvedic massage and Pancha Karma Therapy. In accordance with The World Yoga Organisation, Pinky is a certified Prenatal, Postnatal and Garbhsanskar Guide.
Since 2012 Pinky organizes Yoga retreats at Centre Lothlorien in France. In 2019 she started the affiliation between Centre Lothlorien and ‘The Yoga Institute’. Currently, besides leading her own Teacher Training Courses in France she teaches in several other European countries and participates to Yoga programs in Dubai, Ghana and India.
Richard Slager worked in the hotel and tourism industry in several countries before he came in contact with Indian sciences. In Kerala, India, Richard studied the basics of Ayurveda and Herbalism. After completing Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, Richard took intensive courses in traditional Yoga, focusing on living like a Yogi, Nutrition, Meditation and Yoga Therapy. Now Richard teaches Yoga Teacher Training Courses in the Netherlands and France and organises courses, workshops and retreats on Yoga philosophy and practical applications of Ayurveda.
